This was a large, campus-wide effort led by the team at CSU’s Creative Services in partnership with the Athletic Department. The University’s goal in building the stadium was to create an amazing community gathering place for alumni, fans, and friends. This is unique in the world of college sports, as most stadiums are dedicated solely to football. Our solution was to infuse local culture into the murals while weaving that together with institutional and athletics history throughout key areas in the stadium.

Create an experience beyond the gridiron.
An important area was the East and West terminals where people walked into the stadium and to their seats. We collaborated with Steve Hamaker to bring these murals to life.

Getting the community involved at football games, soft openings, and University donor events created an instant buzz around the opening.
Executive Suites
More specifically, I worked closely on the design direction for executive suites. We discovered some amazing and historic photos that accented the space really well. If you look closely, our fight song was incorporated into the logo walls.
